William de Robillard

William de Robillard joined the Chambers as a pupil in January 2014. He studied at Swansea University, Wales, where he completed an LLB in Law and Criminology and undertook the Bar Professional Training Course in Cardiff, Wales. William was published a Barrister at the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 and subsequently, was called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2015.

William practices mainly as a litigator in Commercial, Civil and Industrial actions, but also carries out advisory work acting as a consultant. William regularly acts as a prosecutor in local authority matters and appears before a range of domestic tribunals. He sits on the Board of Appeal of the Mauritius Turf Club and is also a contributor to the local periodical ‘New Bar Chronicle’.
