Emilie Doger of Spéville

Emilie Doger de Spéville joined DE SPEVILLE-DESVAUX in January 2015 upon being called to Bar of Mauritius. She completed a LLB in English and French Law at the University of Kent, in United Kingdom and spent a year at Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne where she passed her licence in French Law. Emilie followed the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School in London and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013. Before completing her pupillage at renowed Chambers in Mauritius, Emilie undertook mini-pupillages at Linklaters LLP (Paris), Herbert Smith LLP (Paris), Sovereign Chambers (Leeds), Vatier & Associés (Paris) and marshalled with judges in England.

Emilie has a mixed area of practice but acts mainly in civil and commercial matters (i.e. insurance law, employment law, personal injury, commercial law etc.) either as a litigator or consultant.

She also often appears together with her seniors as junior counsel in legal proceedings before the Supreme Court. She is currently a member of the Young Bar Committee of the Bar of Mauritius.
